    nordfront former glory (nearly)

    got this from e stand it had been found in an attic in very near relic condition,maybe there for many years and had suffered with damp /soot etc.
    i hadnt got an example of the cross so i thought i might as well go for it and try to clean it up a little.to my suprise this is the outcome.
    the swastika looks like it has been defaced with maybe a centre punch and part of the screw on rear is missing but its all part of its history.i know some wont be happy about cleaning so i will apologise to those first

            hi jens
            i diluted liquid silver cleaner and just used cotton buds and swilled with water then dried with a hair drier it took a bit of time but worth it i think in the end

                  Interestingly enough, they removed the small Swastika from the flag...... but then left the 4 small banners which if you look closely actually form a larger Swastika that the center badge is superimposed over.......

                  Anyway, nice piece and Jimmy can't wait to see the Dr.'s work on this piece !!!
