    Clear red enamel repair

    Has anyone ever tried to repair colored clear enamel such as the red that found on party badges? If so, has anyone found a suitable way of doing it?

                Hi Jimmy, sounds like a bargain but when I take into account shipping to the UK (which I would want to do insured) and return postage, it becomes a more expensive proposition. Any way I might pay you to reveal your technique to me in a PM?

                              Ya know, I too would like to see what the good Reverend Doctor can do for red enamel. I have a slightly damaged Mongolian award that could use some good lovin' (in addition to the removal of a huge blob of solder on the reverse (screwpost repair)).
                              I'm debating reconstructing a (presumed) period repair versus just leaving it untouched. Normally I'm a "don't mess with it" kinda guy but after following the threads here showing Dr. L's magik I start to think about how nice this award might look after a visit to the Doctor's office....
