              You can find a product called "Super Blue" at gun shops or hardware stores that sell shooting supplies. This is a chemical that will restore the blue/black finish to your bayonet's metal parts. The more highly polished your metal is, the more "blue" your metal will be. Also, I agree, nice job on the grips!

                Yes, made from pieces of wood. It is easy, first with a knife, then with sandpaper, the walnut shapes very easy and nice. A bit do not like the lines I made on the grips, but stll will do just fine for a display.

                  Since the navel jelly did not work on the rusty bayonet I got here I bought some Dermil wire wheels for gun smithing
