    cleaning leather

    how would you clean a leather belt and buckle. the belt has like a white/gray powder on it and the buckle is just dirty. i thank everyone in advance. lar

    I'd just put bootpolish on it and buff it up to be honest, that's always worked for me

      To restore suppleness to the leather and condition it, I would recommend Lexol leather conditioner.

      That is what a buddy of mine who was a harness maker swore by. Works on leather gear and hat visors as well.

        Lexol will destroy stitching and will accelerate the decay of the leather.
