    Ribbons?

Can you iron a ribbon, and if so, how?

You can do it, but better if you don´t unless you really need to do so.
Take care, and don´t warm up the iron too much.
Put the ribbon between 2 pieces of cloth to protect it from direct heat.
Try to iron a few times quickly, and check the ribbon each time. Keep trying carefully until you think is enough.
Remember not to iron the ribbon a lot, or it will look too shinny.

I hope this helps you a bit.

    Best regards,
    Adolph.

        ironning ribbons

I wouldn't iron a ribbon. I wet the ribbon with clear water then place the ribbon onto a sheet of paper towel then place and other sheet of paper towel on top then place several heavy books on top and leave to dry for a cpl days it flattens out the ribbon without any damage. Remember 60+yr old ribbon can become delecate

I did the water thing, we'll see what happens in a few days.
          I just hope it works
