NSKK Hanger

When I bought a German Naval dagger this hanger was attached, as you know this does not go with that dagger. As you can see it is corroded and my question is to restore or leave alone. If you vote to restore who knows someone who will do the work? Thank you for your input. Jim

Unless it is going onto a mint dagger, I'd leave it alone. It doesn't look too bad to me, from the pics.
