The type used by pilots during WW2. I would love to be able to frame one that I received from the granddaughter of a vet who used the map while in Europe. So far it is in rather good condition and I hope to be able to keep it that way. I have heard of flags being mounted for framing by stitching to a natural cotton fabric but I'm not sure if that's the best choice for a silk type material. Any thoughts?

Hi
I have one also I got from my Mother, they used them after the war to make clothing in Belgium. I have read somewhere just recently that you can't stop silk from deteriorating I plan on buying 2 pieces of "Museum Quality" glass and build a frame with 2 eyebolts in the top and hang it from the cieling like that so both side's can be observed.
