Hi Jimmy.
You are doing a fine work. That is for sure. I see one thing that conserns me though. Around your daggers that you restore other awards can be seen. The metal in this case that you polish and "grind" away from the blades are steel and thus rust. If these particels hit the other awards on the work bench, they might start to rust.
I have worked with metals and know that grinding of material and particles of ferro metal (metal that can rust) close to nickel, stainless steel, alluminium can damage the surface of these finer materials. I have seen it with my own eyes.
It is a good idea to have one set of tools for iron and another set for non rusting metals. Keep up the good work mate. You have a good hand with these small repairs.
