    Glass Display Heads

I see the glass display heads in many collection photos. Does anyone know where one can find these? I've checked around and can't find any for sale.
    Thanks!

I got mine at Pier One Imports. I just to my local one and was told that they discontinued them.

Thanks! Yes, I remembered seeing them at Pier One and checked and was told the same thing. I know somewhere they must still exist for sale, though!

I purchased four of them on Ebay. You can usually get them for no more than $10 if your patient. They come in all shades of colors to, but I prefer the clear ones.

I had the same problem. I already had a few and wanted to purchase a few more. They have been discontinued by Pier One Imports. So I just called Pier One and they were able to locate five of them at another location.

Have you tried your local Salvation Army or Goodwill?thats where I find the majority of my torsos, head forms, etc.

Thanks all! I'll do that! Also, I'm going to check for vases or bowl that are the right size--I don't really need the whole head or face, only enough to support the caps. So, if it's around 5 or 6" tall, it would work if the circumference is about size 56 or 57. If I find anything novel, I'll post it here!

                Erich,

have you checked the used store fixture warehouses in downtown San Diego?they have 2 or 3 and they allways have used torsos etc for decent prices.

                  Hello Yancy,
Thanks! Yes, I found the only glass example at the SD stores and bought it. I've also been able to pick up a few from fellow WA members--thanks all!
