    ok boys i know the purest would like me to walk the plank for restoring this baby but i just could not sit and let this badge just rot a way i have givan it some of jimmys love

                Who knows? -- he may have disposed of after crash landing behind enemy lines? -- got rid of it himself just pre- surrender/capture or relieved of it by his captors during the pre-cage "processing" But it surely is "back from the " -- If only it could talk

                    It certainly looks much more striking after being cleaned and cared for.........but I have to say that your "our beloved fuhrer" comment is rather in bad taste. There's not too much room around this place for that type of thing.

                          hi aldwyn as you no this babys made of brass and not zinc so it was easy giving it a silver wash to breathe fresh air in to this baby
