    back from the dead

    hi boys i just could not sit back any more and see this beautiful badge in this state. the pilot must have got out of bed the wrong way when he repaired this baby before and after

    my new baby. ups no pic. sorry guys pic are to big to post i will have to get the lad to do it when he gets in i would not know where to start

              Jimmy - That is nice. Was the back of the badge also cleaned or is it the way the lighting is hitting the badge?

                hi relph i had too clean the badge up a little to get all the crap off due to heating. jim

                            To be fair to jimmy the photo is not the finished job! He has applied a bronze wash to the replaced catch and top hook - they now marry in perfectly with the original bronze finish to the badge reverse - I am very impressed!
