    Best Ink Remover

I'm looking to remove some ink stains from a visor cap lining. I've used "stain devil" in the past with ok results but is there anything better?
    Cheers

    Hey Ben,

I used Woolite with success before. I had an SS TK tab that an antique dealer had written the price "$5" in ink on the forehead of the skull....DOH!

I soaked it in Woolite for about 20 minutes and then blotted the ink off by pressing down on it with paper towels. Worked like a charm. Might be a little tougher to do inside a cap but its worth a try.

Ben, there is a product here in the States called "Ooops!" that works well on ink and even dried latex paint. I don't know how it would react to real or ersatz leather, though. I used it on a tunic to remove a stain and it worked very well, with no residual or counterstaining.

Thanks Don, any idea where I might get hold of some online?

This is the pen version - eBann also has a pint can. I use an aerosol but I doubt the PC freaks at eBay would go for that...
