Hey everyone,
I have a bit of weird question to ask regarding storage and whether or not this particular item was affected by storage or not. I got this infantry badge sometime ago, unfortunately around the same time I moved house so I wasn't able to properly examine it. I left it in the same form of storage I received it, but when finally taking a closer look I noticed a number of marks which I never saw in the original picture. Therefore I am wondering are these marks caused by what form of storage I had or they were just there beforehand and I missed it. The pictures below highlight the marks on the badge, the picture from the site I got it and the form of storage it was in. Sorry to ask such a weird and niche question, but I am just generally curious about it.
