Antiquing a new EK2 ribbon

I have a ribbon that looks far too new for my iron cross.
Is there a good way to darken or antique it?

Guys,
It's a WW1 EK2 and I can't seem to buy an aged ribbon.
I think the one I have is a repro or post WW2 anyway.
