Hi everyone, I wanted to share a project I completed. I spent time researching my family and discovered some history that I had not previously known. Neat stuff to be found. I wanted to make a display of what I found and came up with the idea to document the lineage based purely on military service. It seems that a lot of my family were actively engaged in the service of various nations. I found references all the way back into the 1400's.
So I present my humble collection, going back only a portion of the history. It spans 2 continents, 3 services, 5 generations, 7 wars, and over 100 years of military service. I spent several years researching and collecting the orders and awards to complete my little collection. Only one of the bars is original (mine), but all of the others were made using original awards, based on documentation I found. So you will have to excuse some of the discrepancies. Hope you enjoy.
