Thomaz,
Thank you for the kind words. I hope that there will be more in the months to come. I need to find more armbands (Nurse's and maybe platoon numbered). Also, I want to find more items related to Kampfgruppe Reck, if possible, and a part to a Goliath.
fanatyk6,
Thank you for your reply. I've had a very personal interest in this battle for a while now. Outside of the personal connection, it is a most significant event in regards to the events that transpired after the war. It is a direct link to the Cold War and is considered by many historians to be its actual first armed conflict. The purpose of the battle was to not so much beat the Germans but to prevent the Soviet take-over of a previously sovereign Poland.Last edited by PaulR; 10-11-2019, 04:33 PM.

Great photo, as it shows Reck with a Geschönte Feldbluse but utilizing field-quality insignia usually found on service tunics, or at least the collar tabs. And they said they never did that!

Sławek,
Thank you very much for sharing and labeling your badges for me. How many are you missing?
DonC,
Thank you. I am trying to find a uniform that matches that to display his earned awards and etc. I've not seen one like that. I'd even settle for a field worn Infantry Majors tunic with appropriate badge loops.
