    Stone Mint

I thought I'd post a couple of items that are in mint condition and to see if any other members had mint items to show off.
The first is a cased and boxed KVKI wo/swords
    attributed to S&L.
Although unmarked the badge is text book S&L.

The reverse is missing the maker mark 4.The photos don't do justice to the actual badge.

Just a question: What's the difference between mint and "stone" mint?

                  Doug --

MINT: unmarred, as if fresh from a factory or foundry.

STONE MINT: Southern colloquialism for "damn, that's a fine piece!"

What I've difficult to find with any resemblance to an issue piece is the Oste Medal so heres the closet I could get.

The finish is so delicate its tough to find one in this shape.

Found one other medal that is mint condition,
                      the West Wall.
Its stone mint but Dougs goes into another catagory "Sone Cold Mint".
