I haven't had this tunic on a torso form, much less a mannequin, for probably 20 years. It took a fair amount of (very careful and patient) wrestling to put this all together gently so as not to risk any wear or damage, but I think the final result was worth it. The tunic belonged to a Captain in the famous Infanterie-Regiment Braunschweig. The rest of the uniform is compiled together for display and did not belong to the same officer.

Mads, you would be correct. Finally took over most of the former guest room for my collection. The wife put up a valiant defense, but she was no match for the Wehrmacht.
