Very Cool Find 1942 & 1943 dated Smoke Box with Ukrainian inscription & Swastika

I got banned for trying to get information about this on Reddit.. Pretty sad..

Anyways I would love to learn more about this item I found. Looking at it more closely I actually found caked tobacco on the inner corners.. The Inscription translates to "Vinnytsia" which was a major Ukrainian city invaded during Operation Barbarossa.. It also has 1942 & 1943 inscribed..

Thank you guys, please don't hate me for posting this, I have gained quite a group of people hating me and trying to shame me for simply having this..

If you can zoom in on the second pic you can actually see a couple strands of tobacco caked into the inside corner.

    THis is pretty neat..

"It was occupied by German troops on 19 July 1941 during World War II. In 1943, the invading Germans exhumed almost 10,000 people, mostly male Ukrainians, from mass graves in Vinnytsia.[citation needed] The majority of the executions happened during the Stalinist Great Purge between 1937–1938 in the Vinnytsia massacre.

Adolf Hitler sited his easternmost headquarters Führerhauptquartier Werwolf near the town and spent a number of weeks there in 1942 and early 1943"

That is a neat historical item. Strange times we live in, people seem to have gotten way to sensitive about things. Maybe they don't realize a lot of these items were brought back by AMERICAN G.I.'s after WW2. I myself like it and wouldn't worry to much about what the folks on reddit think.
