    First Pattern Assmann Fallschirmjaeger Badge

This is a first pattern Assmann para badge with the thin egg shape wreath as presented to the first graduation class of Luftwaffe Paratroopers.

I used an antique lamp base depicting Oak leaves and acorns to display my one and only Luftwaffe badge.

    Regards,

    Chuck

Early Assman FJ badges have a terrific look. Congratulations on this great example. Is it named in the back? I have a weakness for Assman FJ badges, if you ever get tired of yours, let me know!
    When you go home
Tell them for us and say

Georgous Early Assmann. Assmann are imo the best paratrooper. Just a note, it is not an egg shapped wreath but the variant right after.
        Congrats

Thanks. My mistake, I thought thin wreaths were all the same, but I'm not surprised.

It's a beauty in a gorgeous, worn condition.

Thank's fellas. The detail of these early thin wreath designs are so much nicer than their later brothers.
