Janc C, thats a great looking LW medic, real combat veteran ! Also interesting to see how the holster is hanged on the back, have you seen this on wartime footage?

    Thanks for sharing it

    Regards

    Jan B.
    Hi Jan,

Yes there is some wartime footage available.. See the photos below. Tom (MP44) also has an example of the fitting of this kind of equipment on his site.
Working on a private museum now. When the building is ready I will start making the dioramas. Photos will be better then.

    - First photo is Obvious
    - Second photo -> look at the 2nd guy from the right

    Best regards

    Jan

Thanks. I know these photographs but never paid attention on how the holsters were hanging on the belt.

And please don't forget to show off when you have your dioramas finished.

      Regards

      Jan B.

          Hi to All,

Really nice mannequins Jan's B & C ! with a real human attitude very natural...maybe a painting customization could give them even more "lifelike" but anyway above average with no doubt!

Here is my "mid-war" contribution...Displayed at Dieppe/France from 10th of August until 16th of september in a large exhibition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Dieppe Raid, 19th of August 1942, with 20 others customized mannequins representing various characters of all nationalities who took part to this event...The poster of the Exhibition

the period photo that inspired the scene

            Awesome Thierry.
Maybe later on will do some customisation but got to search the skills before
Wasn't your stuff on display at the Belgian War herritage center in Brussels?

            Cheers

Excellent medic mannequins. Jan - is the medic vest an original piece? I'm assuming so but would love to see some detailed pictures.
