Hi Soldierworld and Sevrin - thanks for your comments. Very much appreciated!

Sevrin - I know exactly what you mean. More and more items now just seem to be creeping further out of budget. I'm happy with how I'm going about collecting at the moment as it means I have to wait to find the right pieces. It might take a bit of time...but I think I'll get there!

Seeing as it was my Birthday this month, I spent a little on a couple more small items and I must say I am very pleased with them. Added to the collection are a Reichsparteitag tinnie made by B.H. Mayer, along with a NSDAP membership badge by the same maker (stamped M1/170). I also found a bronze Mutterkreuz with packet for the maker, Klein and Quenzer.

          Thanks for looking!
          All the best,
          Rob.

Thanks Paul! Not much to add at the moment. Just another tinnie from 1939.

                    Thanks Sunny!

                    The smalls all count

Just need to find that elusive '65' GWB and I'll feel the collection is that little bit more complete.

This is a very good week for me as I finally found a K&Q Gold Wound Badge! I know there are variations for these makers and the wound badges they made but at least I have one example of each badge by each maker now.

Displayed in the front row are wound badges by B.H. Mayer.
In the back row are wound badges by Klein & Quenzer.

Very nice focused collection. I especially like the boxed EK2! I love cased minty medals.

Fortunately Mayer did not make the RK...but, unfortunately K&Q did! You'll have to search hard for that plus save up!

                          Keep us updated.

Thanks Gary! You are right about the K&Q RK. I am many years away (if ever) from achieving that but I am happy to take my time

Another small piece but I was very excited to stumble across this. A common tinnie with an uncommon maker mark. My first (and earliest dated I could find) K&Q tinnie for the 1934 Tag der Arbeit.
