    16 years and a growing collection

    hello everybody
    my name is michael and i'm 16 years old i collect german militaria for 3 years now and it al started with a luftschutz helmet.
    a am know working on my own warroom but i already have my first wh soldier put together,
    and some helmets out of the boxes.
    tell me what you think
    when the room is done i will send pictures so you can see the result.
    the closet with the glass is made by my dad and i have painted the lifesize wh decal on it much work

          Very Very nice michael. Just one question, where did you get the insignia poster from and also did you make the heer decal on the cupboard yourself? As for the fake breast eagle on the M40 I would swap it for a real one (they're cheap and easy to obtain) but that is personal preference

              You young guys, especially in Europe are putting together some impressive collections. 16 years old?? And your Dad is helping you set up your room, YOU are very lucky indeed.

                Impresive collection

                It's nice to see that people accept this hobby now and even help. I'm sure
                that the next generation will have even easier time with this hobby ( but
                maybe much more expensive ).

                      hello to all of you,
                      thanx for the great reply's you filled my hart with joy hahaha,
                      here are answers to your quistions,
                      ALL helmets are real most of the where found by friends and grandpas that i have,
                      the only one that isnt real is the extreme white one i made that myzelf,
                      the other one is a real winter camo that came from malmedy,
                      the eagle i painted myzelf without any models or such,
                      the poster whas brought back from a trip to spain but its a nice one.
                      and yes i'm going to get a original eagle,

                        Thanks for sharing. What a great, supportive Dad you have - your own war room... wow. I had to buy my wife a damn Kirby vacume to get mine (and it's still used as the office/computer room)!

                              What an impressive collection! I'm 15 myself and it's great to see more young members, they're breeding! Lovely, could you take some closer pics of the camo helmets for me and show them here? They look fantastic.
