Patrick, impressed with your display and thanks for sharing it, I gave up collecting this period a couple of years ago and got rid of a lot of specialist items, turned out that it was a couple of reinactors that purchased them and ruined the lot

      Thanks again
      Regards
      Si

        Hi all,

thanks again for the kind words .

        Bill: Counting the days.

Para: when the paws loosen their grip i'll let you know!

Simon: you have my sympathies...nothing worse than finding out your cherished stuff has been wrecked by re-enactors.

        It's just......wrong.

        Patrick.

A friend and fellow collector perhaps has tracked down some 47/52 jump trousers for his personal collection , but i'm awaiting confirmation from him on that.

Well, these 2 trousers are TAP Mle 47/52 but :

-the one on the right is a real one
-the one on the left is not a fake but is made by the same makers: maybe for Portugese army, or Greek army...
              First picture the "Greek one"

                The "French one"

-the camo is different ("Algeria" war camo for the "Greek" one)
                -snap buttons are different
