    SS Mystery Plaque

I've had this plaque in my collection for many years. I originally acquired it among the belongings of a U S Vet who brought a lot of stuff back in the 60s ,lost interest and it sat in a trunk in his garage for many years. The plaque was broken into 3 pieces and it still evident that it's been repaired. I also believe that half the rune on the helmet is missing(broken off). This plaque is 9 1/2" in diameter. I've never seen another one like it. the wording around the edge reads(translated) "Iron work and defense made of steel will secure us freedom and honor." I'd appreciate any information anyone can provide regarding it.

I guess I must have the rarest SS item ever made as no one on this forum apparently either knows anything about it or has seen one like it! I'm thinking of putting it on Estand for a million bucks or so!!
This plaque was obviously made in a mold so I doubt it's a one off item!

Probably not that valuable , only a few images left in the internet, nevertheless an iron plaque with 24.5cm (9 1/2'') diameter and 2kg weight, same inscription and soldier head sold on Ebay in 2014 for 48.50 EUR, again no images on the ad but I guess probably is the same mold?

By other side another example was discussed here:

Sorry, not exactly the same... the one discussed at the "schatzsucher" forum was missing the runes on the soldier's helmet...

Thanks for the info. Any idea how or if it is labeled on the back?
