    My MG accessories/parts collection

After having previously collected the weapons themselves, and with these now unfortunately gone, I am now looking to focus my collection towards the accessories and any of the rarer parts - mainly associated with the MG34 and MG42 machine guns.

So I thought I would setup a thread here to share some the items I have already, and one which I will keep adding to as and when I find any new bits...

Two-tone 'mediterranean' camouflage scheme on a rarer model of ammo tin (see the locking latch) - this one came recently from a British veteran who brought this back from Italy with him

Superb idea for a thread mate.

The items themselves are amazing and you have photographed them very well. I look forward to further updates.

              Thanks Ian

I have a few more items yet to photograph properly, but will have them up here as soon as I can.

Superb items! I have an MG34 and MG42, plus lafettes, but have failed miserably to get any accessories anywhere near as good as these. I look forward to seeing further items from your collection.

                    Cheers,
                    Michael

                      Thank you everyone!

Keep searching Michael, there are some nice accessories out there to be found - but you have to look past a lot of postwar reused pieces and items in poorer condition first.

MG34/42 Trommeltrager with just 1 drum mag - still searching for another!

Both pieces are in still in the original later-war tan paint.

Unfortunately so IƱigo We'll just have to see how the new regulations affect things... so for now it's accessories only.
