              Great stuff - thanks for sharing with us!

              What some may not realize and/or appreciate is that all (or virtually all) of the MG's shown in this collection enjoy fully-transferable "Curio and Relic" status. In other words, these guns are the "crème of the crop" when it comes to collectable MG's in the U.S., because any individual who is able to lawfully possess a firearm can possess these MG's (i.e. they are not restricted as Law Enforcement or "Dealer Only" samples). The fact that the specific MG's shown in this collection can be owned and enjoyed by any collector, without having to maintain any special licenses under U.S. Federal law (other than the one-time BATFE transfer approval process, with applicable tax payment) is a really big deal.

                    I noticed in post 4 your two MP 44's, very cool as well as the MG 34's and 42's.

                    I hope at some point you could give us some history on your collection.
