Display Wall Background Decor (Painted Flags, Etc)

Display Wall Background Decor (Painted Flags, Etc)...I've used slat wall to great effect in my store and arms vault.

When I had it put in my store 15 years ago we painted the walls with different battle and national flags intending to use those areas by war and country (had too many unrelated things so that plan failed)...In a home collection it might be tough to utilize wall space, but it can certainly work well on a small scale...It's dramatic and adds a lot of punch for little money and effort.

I first saw a collector's above garage room with a painted Japanese Rising Sun and German Kriegs flag running the length of the room ceiling to floor with one flag on each side...The collections were evenly divided and displayed and it was most impressive.

On a smaller scale this type design will work very well for collections displays. Ed

Well laid out their ED, the wall painted slats off flags as a back drop to the items you have attached to the wall makes a nice display Yep that would be a Military shop I would love to visit, and off course buy something.

Very nice Ed. This gives me something to consider when laying out my future new collecting room.

                Regards,
