    new additions to my little collection!

    Hello All!

    Well ater spending many months on this forum my collection has obtained a few new pieces, as I just can't resist taking a look in the e-stand, and i'm sure you all know what happens then!!

    So with alot of help from fellow members here are a couple of my main purchases, I have bought alot more pictures and bits, but I wont bore you all with them, if you would like any further pics, let me know!!

    So here we go!!

    Here is my war merit cross, mm L/11, my iron cross 1st class, mm 26, and my October medal.

                    Looking good! Its amazing how fats the display case fills up. I actually got a gift certificate from Ikea for xmas so I can get myself another detolf, it looks like you will have to do the same soon yourself.

                    Where did you get your plastic stands from if you don't mind me asking?

                      my "British shelf" not much change apart from the dagger and the photos. the one you can see of Hiroshima is from on of my dad's friend who he met through ship building, he served on HMS London among others, and was there just after the bomb had dropped, and also at the signing of the jap surrender. He has alot of stories to tell, and I will be having a look through his memrobelia in a couple of weeks, but he gave me this anyway. He came up to have a look at what I had, and I was a bit aprehensive about what he would think of my german medals, as his brother was killed on HMS Neptune, but he really loved looking at my stuff, which was nice!!

                            Hey Greg!! Hows it goin? I really can't fit anything else in! it's as we say here in Wales chocca block!! I finally fighured out how to display my collection in my tiny room, and now that's full and I still have the same problem but on double the scale!!! Oh well!

                            As for the stands, beloved ebay, take a look, they really are the best thing I have bought, make you're medals come to life!!
