Rusty ICs with a bit of history

I bought these on a whim from Hermann Historica May 2011, They had previously been in a HH auction in1994. I have dismounted them from the original mount as it was a bit tacky. I intend to do the job properly together with the photos and information and the crosses in a loose formation in a cassette of some kind. Not for the guy who collects only mint eh. Just took my fancy as I was reading Pietro Guido's book about the bunker at the time.

    Hi mate,

Are there varying makers in the group you bought?

    Cheers,

    Jamie.

      Rusty Iron crosses 2nd class

Hi Jamie , there are no makers marks of any kind, They were found after the wall came down near the bunker. As HH is quite reputable I see no reason to doubt that is where they came from. But who can say for certain. There were 30 +2 in the group I purchased. The info suggests they were near the spot where Adolph handed out ICs 2 to members of the HJ. But there again you have to take some info on trust Regards John
