Medal display @ the end of '04, and a thank you.

This should probably be titled 'with a little help from my friends' as this, and all other parts of my collection, would not have been possible without the help of all of you here on the forum. It would be impossible to individually name all those who have helped me out since I first joined, either by their posts, many many pm's answering my questions, or selling and/or helping to connect me with the items that I love to collect.

So a big Thank you to everyone who contributes to making this place what it is, and I wish you all a great New Year in both collecting and all other aspects of your lives in 2005!!!!

Looking good Al! I love how you have the single ribbon bars to match up with the medals. That takes patience.

I'm still a little hurt though seeing you wearing an oilers t-shirt in the "who;'s talking thread"

Great display with matching single ribbon bars. The medal missing the ribbon is the for African Service

            Al,

            VERY nice display.

I too like the medals with the ribbon bars! That red background really catches the eye. Very nicely done. Do you mind if I borrow the ribbon bar idea??

            Thanks for sharing.

I believe what you see is the Italo-German Afrika Medal and not the Memel medal (which was what I was gonna say was missing )

                Nice Al

                  Nice Display!

I concur with the others-that looks great-love how you have them organized. Best of luck in '05!!!

Thank you all for the comments, it continues to be a work in progress as noted by the missing Afrika medal ribbon.

Greg: I would get shot up here wearing a Flames shirt

Giel: The ek ribbon has a mini-device on it, not very common but real.

Jim: Borrow away, after all I 'borrowed' the idea from someone else as well.
