Thanks Peter for the kind words. I'm really stuck on the crosses and am pretty ignorant when it comes to the other badges. Thus I rely heavily on my friends here at the forum. You CAN NOT go wrong here. Really brilliant people here. If you like the EK's, The Iron Cross of 1939 by Gordon Williamson, and The Iron Time by Stephen Previtera are the bibles currently in print. I believe they are both available through our bookstore here. Gordon also has a much anticipated book coming soon on the KVK's.

Simon, I have about 5 pieces that will not leave my collection prior to my laying on the death bed. The cased EKII is one of them. And it has been promised to a young fellow who loves the W&L crosses.

          Jim,

Thanks for your help as well as for showing your collection. I'm such a new boy I hadn't realised that there was a book shop here too!

          All the best, Peter

            Peter,

You need to become an Association Member. It's only $25 and can be done with Pay Pal. Best money you will ever spend if you're serious about this hobby.

You get discounts on merchandise and can post photos. You should like that.

Actually, that is my ex-65, becoming Marc's ex-65. Thus, baby is home!!

A very well traveled cross. I'm glad it's back, it goes very well with the 65 EKII and packet. I have this thing for "sets". I'm sure it's a disorder of some kind.

Very nice Cross Jim, it is nice when piece comes back home after you have allowed another collector to "lease" it for a while. You have a top notch collection going there and I can't wait to see it in person some day.
