Introduciton via my varied collection

Hi, been a member for a while, some of you will recognize some of the pieces of my collection the fine members here have helped me build this, and as I get a chance I will do close ups of each display and individual items as requested. I have been collecting off and on for about 30 years, it was much cheaper when I began :-)

Pardon my wallpaper, these are displayed in my "gun room / man cave" and I haven't spent much time redecorating the walls yet (although my wife is itching to).

All firearms are fully functional and in the case of the MP40 a registered Curio and Relic full auto.

Thanks much and appreciate all the wonderful information I have learned here.

The center gap on top is where I plan to put the display box for the MP40 (being custom built)

The MP40 is probably one of my favorite smg's that I have ever shot. Have had the opportunity to own various ones throughout the years as a dealer and it is without fail the one that gets the most range time when people come over to shoot. I kinda feel bad about using it, but just can not resist.

and finally, the social welfare. There has been many questions over the years about whether there is a difference between the social welfare and red cross beyond the hanger and attachment points or if it was simply a production difference. Despite being quite similar, there are actually many differences in the daggers, these two that I have kept from the various ones I have owned over the years are quite representative of each type. I plan to do a point by point difference on each in a future thread, there are around 14 overall differences in construction between the two types, most are quite small, but again, are common to one type or the other and I have yet to see a crossover. By my own experience in these, I will say them to be two entirely different distinct builds despite a casual identical look to them

Thanks for the compliments, I do appreciate that from such as the collectors here. I purchased my first Luftwaffe dagger when I was about 14 years old going to gunshows with my father, turned into a hobby that brought both of us closer together, something we both shared an interest in up till his passing. So if for no other reason than that I will always have a love for this

We have to display our pistols with trigger locks here in Canada. Makes a ****ty display.
