Feldgendarmerie Display Question

I am interested in putting together a display together for a WWII German Army Feldgendarmerie. Will I need things like y-straps, ammo pouches, bread bag, canteen, etc. for the mannequin?

Any guidance on what I would need would be much appreciated...

It could be done without the equipment if you were representing a vehicle occupant.

Feldgendarmerie needed vehicles by nature of the job they did and so often seen with belt and weapon and little other equipment in photos.
