    The M36 field jacket

The field jacket, the uniform of the German Wehrmacht soldiers.

The most elaborate and elegant German Army - Field Jacket is probably the model M36.
Easily recognized by the collar insignia cloth curly pocket flaps and the creases on all pockets. The blouse was closed front with five buttons and collar additionally shut with a small hook.

The field jacket shown here was cut and tailored to the dimensions of the support. In this context, the silver Kragenlitze was applied. As you can see very nice on the photos for all the work was carried out with the same thread. Our sergeant has been here so procured from the chamber, private fee, a tunic and can change it to its dimensions. A time quite common variant though forbidden officially!

Inside the collar was buttoned a so-called Podvorotnichok, which was in front, overlaid with collar closed. The Podvorotnichok role was to protect the neck of soldiers from chafe at the field blouse collar and on the other to prevent the contamination of field blouse collar.

The epaulets, here in the 1st form with a pointed end and unarmed color, have a peripheral strands of silver dream. The two-star label identifies him what 2 ceremony took place after his promotion based on EK, as Sergeant. The 4 represents the regimental affiliation.

Also are 4 coupling Babywearing aluminum on the field blouse. The Gurtbandtragegestell, which is usually located inside omitted here due to the reduction of the blouse so that the coupling hooks were simply pushed through the holes provided.

The band of the EK2 is secured properly in the second buttonhole. In the pockets of the blouse are further still a whistle, field dressing and the pay book.
