          Reitz ???

          Tim,
a very nice collection you have there.
But I am afraid Johnny has got a point.
And to be honest, this is the first cap I see, made by Reitz... and believe me I have seen a lot made by this factory... but never a cap !! ( not wool, not linen, not camo nor tropical cloth...)
So this must be the very first, one of a kind example or....
a fake Or in best case a good cap with a bogus stamp inside. Could you scan a detailed picture of the stamp please ?

          thanks
by the way, there is more about reitz on my website

Hello, is it possible to sent a picture of the unusual buckle?

Tim, You have a nice collection. But I have doubts about the camo paint and the wire on your M-42 Heer camo helmet. I think someone added the paint and the wire to "enhance" a beat-up helmet.

You might want to post a pic of it over on the helmet forum. Ask Perry and Matt M. for their opinions. I know you will want to be sure.
                    Best wishes,
                    John

My collection isn’t near as nice as most of the ones here, but I still hope you enjoy it as much as I do. If you have any questions or would like some more/different pictures let me know. I am very happy to oblige. Oh... been collecting for about 3 years.

                          Great collection Tim!!!

Hi Tim and welcome to the forum. You sound like a really nice guy with a great collection in the works. I particularly liked how you presented your uniforms on your manniquins with the black fabric covered faces... to me they really makes the headgear pop! Are the heads addded to your mannequins? I would like to do this on a couple of mine so, if you could let me know that'd be great. Thanks.
