Hallo Oriano
This is truly an unrivaled collection, but above all it is a testimony of the memory of Men who made History. Allow me to add two images. The first is the portrait of Major Fernando Janari (whose great-grandson is a good friend of mine), who led the successful charge of Kassala at the head of his Squadrons' Group (2nd Spahis Regiment) and lowered the Union Jack by replacing it with the Savoy flag, receiving for this valiant act the silver medal for military valor directly on the field by General Tessitore, as shown in the second image. In the same action, Lieutenant Santasilia, gold medal in memory, was killed.
