    A ww1 Christmas miracle.

I have a very small ww1 collection as I only buy them if I see them super cheap or special. However, my collection become very special today as I was given a special gift. Around a 2 years ago I found an interesting Bronze Plaque (The death plaque as some call them) from a guy who came from my local area. His name was Albert Gudgeon (a Cpl) and he unfortunately died very close to the ends war, even though he had basically joined at the start. His medals weren't in the shop with him so I presumed his family still owned them or something else. Anyway, my family were doing some research on world war one using my small collection for their local school. By pure chance they saw his medals on sale on a website that had just had them up. They got them as soon as they could and when I came home for Christmas they gave them to me for a Christmas present. I was over joyed to reunite his medals with his plaque and research as I love to research but also feel like this man deserves respect for fighting for his country! And I would like to show this. Anyway, I have wrote to much so here is my picture of my small collection.

The things blocked out are personal family medals that are not related to the collection.

The rest of the collection is the Christmas box, A set of medals belonging to a Horse Artillery man and finally a ww1 propaganda leaflet.
