Display Cases

Hi,

Do any UK members know if there are any outlets (or web sites) over here that sell Riker Mount cases? I picked one up a show about 6 months ago and I've never seen them again. I've searched the internet and there doesn't seem to be any available in the UK (I just find it hard to believe!!!). They are great for medals, and I'm at the stage now where I'd like to get my collection out of a box and into something that will do it some justice.

Hi James, I always get mine from Malcolm Gordon. He will do you a deal on prices if you buy 3 or more of the same size. He stocks the velvet inserts too plus various other cabinets and trays. I always now buy them by the box load of 12 at a time. I have never had any posted as I buy from him at shows, so postage might be expensive?

Thanks for your comments. That's about all the cased items I have, I have a mothers cross in gold to and a few awards with packets. I agree with you though cased items do look great when displayed. This is the first picture I've posted of my collection, there are some amazing collections shown in this section of the forum it's one of my favourites.

Hi Guys,

A few pictures of the Iron Cross for you (the back ground on the full picture is a bit of black cloth not the base of the case). The East Medal is in pretty good condition. Lucky find I guess, I'm pleased with it.

The cross has not been touched at all and it has a dark patina that I really like.
