Found a easier way to store and display smaller items , cut top of boxes , glued in glass , easy reference and boxes stack neatly for easy storage

Hello,

The boxes were purchased at a " Dollar Store " . They were made of balsam or thinner wood . At the time I didn't have a table router so we work with what we have and some times less is more .

I used , patience , a sharp utility knife , scored one side , flipped it over and scored the other side . Then with sand paper sanded the edge for a more uniform edge . Was hoping to stain but just wanted to store items at quick glance display or reference .

I understand in my cases displayed they were with low end dollar value items , I was hesitant to post the idea as there are so many great more substantial collections on this great forum but was organizing stuff and just went for it.

I have well over 15 cases and they stack well . To quench my collecting passion from higher priced items I cut back at times over the years and bought some lower priced items . This was a way to organize them and display them .
