Male Mannequin from Roxy Displays, Does anyone have one?

I have been searching for a decent male Mannequin for one particular uniform I have, but all the ones I find here in the UK are either 6' plus, or their pose is, shall we say, unsuitable....

I just found this on Amazon US http://www.amazon.com/Realistic-Mann.../dp/B00GB2Q0B4

The size is good, the pose exactly what I want, and I like the movable arms. The face isn't great, but could probably be improved, or failing that the head removed entirely and replaced by a support for the peak cap.

Does anyone here have one of these Roxy Mannequins? if so what do you think of them?.

    Thanks,

    Matt.

Not a very good mannequin to say at least, first of all the pose with its too long neck and too long arms make it look very unrealistic like those 1/6 Dragon figures only big if you know what I mean. And it looks like a doll no matter what you do with it. I was very disappointed with it if you ask me.

It's great if you like your military mannequin to look like he would be more comfortable in a San Francisco bathhouse. Not for me.
      Looking for a 30 '06 Chauchat magazine.

For the price they are not bad. I have a 6 foot and a 5.8 foot mannequin and I think they are pretty good. I have added a few pictures of my 6 foot mannequin.

Below are pictures of my 5.8 foot mannequin. I chose not to put a lot of money into mannequins. It is personal preference as to what you are looking for in a mannequin.

I admit that these particular mannequins are not the most realistic looking mannequins on the market but for $80 ( that is what I paid many years ago) you can't beat it.

Pictured below is my 5.8 Mannequin in a M36 tunic and dress pants.

I am with Steve, as for the price it's a steal, as I purchased the same one a few years back, over here in Australia, and I was out of pocket for $380.00 plus postage!

Also remember you always can modify these mannequins, like adding flexible arms, rubber heads, or repaint the face's and so on.

The last few for the night. Again, my 5.8 foot mannequin in combat dress.

I will say, these mannequins are sturdy and easy to assemble. I like them well enough. If you are good at painting, you could always make these mannequins look more realistic. Steve

                  Matt,

I also have a couple of these. Additionally, I have one of each of these (below). The first one was perfect for a complete kit-out for an IJA soldier. Decently priced, and perfect for smaller uniforms.

I also have a 5.8 model. I like the articulated arms.

Many thanks to all who replied, and especially Steve and Adam for posting pictures of yours. Like Adam it's the articulated arms which drew me to them, and I'm now thinking about trying to obtain some of the joints used, as I could fabricate arms and use "off the shelf" hands to give an arm less 3/4 torso arms.

Normally I'm not too concerned about arms for a uniform display, but as the set I want to display includes a cape and gloves, arms would be useful!.

                      Regards,

                      Matt.
