            Great display Al,

Where did you get the red backing and can you buy it anywhere? It has a silk look to it.....very nice!

            Thanks,
            Mike

Thanks all, the gold one arrived today and I finally have them all together (yes I know I do not have all the mini versions).

The material was picked up at a fabric shop for dirt cheap. Those shops have all sorts of great stuff for displays and if you play the dumb male you can get lots of help and possibly even a discount . I picked up some blue as well for my flak display and I think it helps show off the displays quite well.

Those look absolutely fabulous! That color of backing material really sets them off; I used the same color with my SS dagger display and it really made it POP!

I totally agree that Mothers Cross's are very underrated.

                        Good work,
                        John

Nice! Mothers' Crosses are indeed beautiful awards, and a set of them makes for an attractive and fairly inexpensive display! (I have a set myself! )

                              Mother's Crosses...

                              Great looking display.
But everytime I see a Mother's Cross I'm reminded that as a 5 year old kid I gave a cigar box full of armbands & medals to the kids in my neighborhood(around 1949,father "bring backs" from the war.)
And I kept the Mother's Cross because I thought it was the prettiest one!
You might try & find a small M.C. (miniature cross & bow tie ribbon)to add on...
Then you'd have every configuration that I'm aware of.
                              Cheers.
                              J.v.C.
