      HI,

Sorry, but we are a small organization and they are the models of the members.

Everything looks really authentic. Are the weapons functional?

          Hi Barry & Edouard,

...of course not! it's impossible in Europe to display activated weapons to a public exhibit (or anywhere else!)...means All guns have to be deactivated as per the official French specifications with stamps & certificates and French customs sometimes makes unannounced visits to check if they are...if not (also for guns which are deactivated "at home" but not by the official French "Saint Etienne" proof house) they can seize and confiscate!

About the exhibition shown, first of all, congrats to the association for the big work realised (I well know what it supposed for regularly realise some exhibits here in Normandy) which is a true intent to show to the public realistic scenes inspired by "museum" displays even if of course, the limited time of an exhibition and the financial ways that this entails have their limits.
The plus of that one appears to be the large amount of materials, vehicles, uniforms and equipment presented and the real effort to show them in large displays with decors rather well done...

...But, as "Customannequins" maker, I'm of course a little bit agree with HAF comments considering that mannequins are not "at the level"...
...As usual I would say as they are always the "poor parents" of collections & museums who often neglects mannequins treatment while it is these mannequins, if they are well customized, who make all the difference between common displays and real lifelike rendering which gives consistency to the assembly and speaks much more to the general public always attracted by "real face" effect.
I well know that this is not obvious to make and that this requires means and know-how but things are slowly changing and more and more collectors and museum give them importance today...

          ...Anyway, Congrats for the Exhibition

          Best to All!
          Thierry

PS: Here is an attempt to illustrate my point with photos taken during an august/September exhibit here in Dieppe (About 1942 large Raid and 1944 liberation)

Well done Edouard, and your'e fellow collector friends have done a great job putting this together, and yes we would all loved to have the money to spend on mannequins, and those realistic heads, but hey the main focus is the original WW2 items, and saying that you and your'e team have put together a great display
