Medal Stands?

I was just wondering where you medal collectors find those little plate stands for your medals? I've looked at local stores and craft shops, and the cheap little plastic ones they have tend to be a bit large for a war badge or medal. Where are you guys finding them?

Found a seller with 10 for $7.65...definitely better priced than plate stands, as well

There are nicer and crappier ones.
Some are good for badges with pins, while others work better with medals etc..

It has to do with whether or not there is a recess at the back to fit a pin.

Look for Fireman/Police Badge display stands if you are looking to display badges with pins.. I have found them to work quite well.

Good luck! And ebay is certainly your best bet.. Both for selection and price!

Hi Guys - So, I have been looking at eBay to grab about ten of these. They seem to vary by size the slightest bit.

Honestly, I have never liked them but its time I display some EK1s that are caseless. I see that I need the ones with the recess at the back but what is the right size? I don't want to go too big or two small. It seems the 1.5 inch ones are best?

Also, do any of you guys worry about the material of these things in that exposure to our collectibles could be detrimental in the long run?

I really appreciate the feedback.

I've found that a couple of badges have the clasp in a position that leans against the lower back and thus tilts forward, I simply took a dremel tool to the stand and removed a bit of it and they fit great
