here's a little update, when the exhibition is finished everything goes back in my stock room. here's a view on my battledress ;-) hope u'll like it.

Most bd are named and some of them are coming with documents, personal items, lettres etc...

That is quite an amazing collection you have.

I started my recent "Canadian " WW1 collecting with an American helmet ...so you are doing much better than I am.

I was in Ypres and area this spring...and it all made quite an impact on me...

BTW ...where do you get the mannequins from?

Thanks! A collection always start with some good research, but everyone makes mistakes. Even I do after all those years...

the mannequins itself (body) are old 1930's or older, the mannequins are made in france. And then I buy the heads on antique markets or where ever I can find them (they're made from wax). They easely go up to 350 - 500 Euro
