    Akward mannequin position (need advices)

    Hello to all

I have this very nice looking mannequin

The hands are done in order to be put in front pants pockets. Not the easiest position though

I’m asking myself how to display it considering the position of the hands

I think he will be on the US side

I at first had the idea of a loose unfastened belt, but that's anyway still to high

    - Any idea on which item to put or trick to make to have a use of the hands as it is ?

    Thanks

You could post the manikin from behind, and have it represent a soldier taking a piss on the battlefield...

...or engaging in other activites, having not seen his girlfriend since last year.

Hands can be turned 180 degrees, arms raised a bit, this way he's lifting or holding something ..

Make a post-war 1945 USO Camp show display.

Not with this Rootstein mannequin imho, rootstein never has turning hands . It always pays having extra parts. Though parts for a Rootstein will be hard to find! Try ebay with the tag " Rootstein "

Give him a Gauleiter's uniform and stick his hands in his pockets so he can look appropriately unburdened by the hardships of the fighting men.
                            Best regards,
