    My humble collection.

I've been offline for a while due to my moving from my small appartment to a new, much bigger house. This also means I finally have an own collecting room Still a lot needs to be done before it's finished but for now my first display cabinet is done. Nothing really special compared to the vast collections I've seen here on the WAF but still I'm proud of my collection so far. I hope in the very near future to set up my first two mannequins (an eastern front Luftwaffe bomber crew and an eastern front Luftwaffe airfield guard). But as said, let's start with my first display cabinet and within time more will follow from the rest of my collection.

    Thanks for watching

          Very nicely presented Marcel!
I like the cases with the wood trim but it is too light colored to fit in with the rest of the wood in my house.

Thank you very much gentlemen! Hope to come up with better pics when the rest of my collection is displayed. It's a slow process but it feels good to finally own a room only for my collection

And yes, I have a weakness for these Rusky stars hehe. These three are all from 1943 and 1944.

Very nice display! Your display case reminds me of Ikea cases. They used to sell them with wood trim in various colour choices, now they sell them in full glass for a relatively cheap price and they make excellent displays for militaria. Well done sir!

                Cheers

Thanks a lot everybody for the nice feedback! Much appreciated
And yes, within time it will be full already and I'll be in need for a second room hehe.

@ cw2311: the display case is not from IKEA but from a Dutch chain called Leen Bakker. Unfortunately it's no longer in their catalogue and unfortunately they made just one size, these small high and narrow ones.

I'll make some pics from the binos when there's natural daylight again. It's only one German bino, one US Navy bino and two British binos.
