                    dagger case

                    Hello,

Thanks for the kind replies , honestly I had to ask my friend for pics of the case as I may be doing another one and never saved some pics of original as it all just kind of happened. Being a dagger and safety I thought it should be in a case in glass .

I did save some maple from my sons " captain " bed after he went to bigger bed quite some time ago and years later bought a router and with my wife while she was doing the gardening I played with my router for the first time in the sun over time on the driveway.

Never a total plan in place and learned about cutting glass as well and I did have some time for this all too happen .Please enjoy the pics , just sharing of my personal experiences , but truly had fun , joerg .

Nice display case. Looks like the type Skipper Greenwade has been marketing for some years now. One of his is depicted in this linked thread.

Hi Stu. Is he selling any now? If so, can you direct me to a link or site? Cheers.

                          dagger case

                          Hello,
Surprisingly they are truly similar but not quite the same . Thin as can be , not too bulky 45 degree angles on upper and bottom pieces . Not to say the maple pieces I used when finished, sanded and stained were quite nice when completed .

I would like too see how the case opens and if it has a carrying handle ?With mine it was purely luck and foam for a close fit to reduce the retelling effect .
The handle I found was by chance from our trailer park rubbish pile and it would fit and found only one when throwing out old wood but was in descent shape so I used it .

Lexan may be safer than glass but had old pieces of glass hanging around and feel access to this type of collecting and access should be controlled ?

I like the way the hangers were displayed it was quite clever .

Nice feed back , thanks for sharing . Joerg
