Is there a maker mark on the 1939 screwback EK 1?

                      Nice docs.

The Reserve Ersatz Regt 4 was bounced around from one division to the next. I have three different kinds of EK docs to this regt alone... and here is a fourth, by far the most document variations to a single unit I have seen.

                        Very sweet. Love EK's....

I really like the spange and packet (ribbons w/ devises too!)

Did the EK and spange come together in the case??? I have never seen one of these. Very cool......

                          Thanks everyone for the compliments!

It is maker marked L55 (J.E. Hammer & Sohne Geringswalde).

                            Damian,
Can we use the EK to the RER4 for a book we are doing? We would need a really good clear scan.
                            Thanks

Thanks again! The case can be seen pictured in Gordon's book(p.175). I bought the case with the 1939 Screwback (L55) pictured above and a bad spange. I've since added the 1914 screwback and spange.
