    Fleamarket findings...

    Hello people,

    I want to show you some of my fleamarket findings. It's not much but some nice items:

    Canadian holster, american pitcher, german cups and saucer, fabric in belgian colours - sometimes used by the resistance and last but not least a german egg-handgrenade 1917.

    Regards

    Michael

              Hello collectors,

              this is the stuff I found today:
              • a picture of two belgian infantery-soldiers from WW1 - dated 1916;
              • a british crate WW1 or WW2 - RAOC: means royal army ordnance corps;
              • an american crate for tools - US Army Engineers;
              • a german wooden box, likely for grenades or flares, metal carrying handles and latches.

              Some pictures:

              I will post some pictures of markings after cleaning.

              Regards

                  Hello Bjorn,

                  as often as I can - mostly on sundays. I go to exhibitions as well but not for buying. I get up at about 03:30 AM, get in my car and out 'hunting'.

                  And you?

                    It would be an amazing find here to find that amount at a flea market in the US! What finds!!

                      Newest stuff... 03/11/2013

                      Hello collectors,

                      I'd like to show you my newest findings. Not much for 4 hours of 'picking':
                      • a german toolbox - except 'Werkzeug' (Tools), no markings (the box used to be attached to a vehicule I guess);
                      • a german headset with two WaA-markings and the number 376 (Head Phone);
                      • two fake flags...

                      That's it for today!

                      Regards

                      Michael

                        Great items!

                        Last year I was at La Gleize show so we spent some time around on a flea markets (largest being in Liege). There are some really neat items one can find there, if you're picking regularly. Unfortunately, in Croatia we don't find much stuff while picking.

                            Nice findings!

                            There is still A LOT to be found.

                            I always go to flea markets in the neighbourhood when I have the chance (not as early as you though ) and almost always find something, sometimes very rare things.

                            It's the early bird who catches the worm!

                              • a german toolbox, probably used for electricity - marked with 540;
                              • a german 'Patronenkasten 41 für MG', marked brc - I'm not sure about the colour, sandcolour still visible;
                              • a belgian medal for deportees (WW1);
                              • six different dinner plates from the Wehrmacht/Luftwaffe.
